Before assuming the role of Principal, he served as Head of the Department of Chemistry at the institution for eight years, during which period he modernised the science curriculum and established a well-equipped research laboratory for postgraduate students.
Dr. Satrughan has authored numerous research papers published in peer-reviewed national and international journals, with a particular focus on green chemistry and sustainable organic synthesis. He is a life member of the Indian Chemical Society and the Indian Science Congress Association, and has presented his research at academic conferences across the country.
